Update: Thorniewood United (H) & Cambuslang Rangers (H)

Johnstone Burgh can confirm that we will be putting on supporters buses for the two home games being played at Cliftonhill in Coatbridge. We play Thorniewood United on 27 March and Cambuslang Rangers on 03 April. Both matches kick off at 19:45, with the bus leaving Keanie Park at 18:30.

Recognising the additional cost and inconvenience to our fans, we are happy to announce that travel to both matches on the supporters bus will be FREE! Season tickets will be valid for both ties.

After Saturday's defeat to St Roch's, Jamie McKim spoke about the decision to switch these ties to Cliftonhill. "When the midweek games come in, after the semi final matches, we'd have somewhere in the region of 10 games left in the space of three weeks if we didn't play these games. So instead of playing three or four times a week, we're trying to break it up and give our boys a chance to recover and give us the best chance of success. I get it that's an inconvenience in terms of where the games are... but I would ask that we when we go to these games that we get as much support as we can. Everything that the club's thought about in terms of getting games is for the benefit of the team... I think if we were still going three or four games a week at the end of the season we'd be really really struggling and it'd be really difficult for the players, so it's player welfare, chances for the team, chances for club going forward and every bit of support we can get will be appreciated."

Johnstone Burgh would also like to add that selecting Cliftonhill was not a decision we took lightly and although we did try to find a venue closer to home, Cliftonhill was the closest available stadium that we could get for these dates.
